: If you think that driving in the fog is much safer compared to driving in the snow or in a torrential downpour, then think again. The truth behind fogs is that driving through one increase your chances of meeting accidents or collisions much greater than you think. If you happened to turn on your television set just recently, you would have learnt that there was an accident in China that was related to driving in foggy conditions. There were a dozen or so trucks that went colliding into one another. There were a couple of people dead and a greater number hurt and wounded. That just simply goes to show that we should not underestimate the power of the fog. When driving during a foggy day, it is important that you drive slowly. With the fog, the usual thing that you would experience is a shortened range of vision. Now, if you are driving slowly, you would be able to stop your vehicle immediately if you need to. Also, it is important to turn on your lights. That way, you are letting others know that you are on the road. If you are about to leave the road, make sure that you are completely out of it. you should turn off all your driving lights and keep in mind to turn on your flashers. This kind of situation actually gives other motorists the message that you are on somewhere off the road and you would not be driving back just yet. Keeping your windows clear could be quite a problem for you. You can ask for the assistance of your windshield wipers as well as your defroster. These would help out greatly in keeping your windows and windshield clear. Contents insurance how do i know if i have enough cover
Buying insurance can be a tricky subject, over insure and you risk paying too much in premiums, while under insuring can also be a disaster should the worst come to the worst. So how do you know what is just right? Obviously the most important tip when it comes to deciding on the amount of cover you need is to take your time and go through your home valuing your belongings. Along with this you can follow the tips outlined below to give you some idea of how much you might need. Never go rushing and guessing the value of your possessions, you could be surprised how far out of range you are by making a guess. Take a notepad and walk around your home writing down the cost of everything. And by ‘everything’ I really mean everything, from CD’s to clothing to furnishing to your pet cat’s wicker basket! Once this is done, you can make an educated decision as to how much contents insurance you need. Also, do bear in mind that if you buy additional items you should always take these into account when it comes to renewing your home insurance. As an example, even just buying two CD’s and a DVD every month can soon mount up to well over an extra Ј350 a year – a value that should be included in your contents. Make sure that you understand what the insurer means when they use the term “valuable”. If your policy states that you won’t be covered for items worth more than Ј1,000 and you haven’t declared a possession that is over that amount, then it simply won’t be covered. If your policy is new for old then this means that you will get the cost of replacing items with new ones. You should always take into account the rise in cost of items every few years’. Many policies you take out will include items such as patio furniture and garden equipment so always ensure that if these are covered by your policy, then include them in your evaluation. Take into account any items which may be difficult to put a value to. For example, you might have a large collection of books or CD`s which you need to cover. If this is the case, then make sure these are noted and that a price has been agreed upon by the insurance company. If you work from home the majority of policies will cover such items as computers or fax machines, so include these in your estimate if they are covered by your policy. You should also enquire as to the limit of such equipment as most policies will have a limit for items such as these.

I enjoyed the day with cardinals
I recently packed up some belongings and headed to a local park where I planned to spend the entire day. I did this because I was overwhelmed with the busyness of life and I knew that I needed to get away in order to have some effective hours of writing for my next book. So I packed the books I was reading, my three journals, a picnic lunch, plenty of water and tea, my camera, and my favorite blanket and I was off for a day at the park. I had no idea that my day would not be spent alone but that I would share it in the company of the cardinals. I have never been too fond of cardinals. I don't think that they are the prettiest bird really, and so I'll admit that I was not all that excited when I saw cardinals playing right near where I was about to set up camp for the day. I thought about wandering further into the park, but I decided against it because I was certain that I would scare the cardinals and that they would quickly leave me alone. I was wrong. Not only did I not scare the cardinals away, but I almost seemed to attract them to myself. They slowly but surely moved nearer and nearer to my blanket. They were not particularly noisy, but nor were they quiet. I ended up not getting any writing on my book accomlished that day at the park. Instead, all I walked away with was an entire roll of film of the cardinals (who amazingly enough were not even afraid of my camera) and a few pages of random jounraling and poetry that the blessed cardinals inspired. I ended up enjoying my time with the cardinals so much that I got home and spent a few hours reading up on everything about cardinals that I could find online. Because I now thought that cardinals were in fact pretty, I even ordered a couple of books containing photographs of cardinals for my coffeetable. I was hooked that day, and I have been hooked on cardinals ever since. People who know me well know that when I commit to something, I fully commit. I have been just as loyal to my cardinals as I have been to any friend or worthy hobby in all of my life. I have made it back to that same park on several occasions just to see if my first cardinal friends would join me. They have not, but I will never forget my lovely afternoon with the cardinals for as long as I live.
What paper or computer files should you keep
Does this shock you? It did me at first, but now I subscribe to this motto and let go of all paper and information that doesn't serve me. It's my new mantra. If the information is important I make sure it gets filed--either in paper files or on my computer. More and more I don't use paper files and have learned how to make new folders of important people or specific information I need to keep track of. If you are a stacker, slinger, or stuffer, you can now expand your power by keeping only what is important to you. How to File these Important Pieces If in a paper file organize them alphabetically and vertically and put a complete name at the top of the manila file folder. Categorize the kinds of files too: one for household information, another for the teleclasses and speaking engagements, another for coaching clients, and another for promotion Online and off. In a computer word folder organize information alphabetically too. "My documents" includes these and many more, but with this technique you will always know where to find the important information because it's organized and categorized in folders Examples include: articles to submit, contacts influential, ClickBank, promotion campaigns by month and of course folders for books in word and PDF. These folders are the lifeblood of any business. Make sure you keep only information that supports your best life. With that 20% make sure you file it so you can find it in less than two minutes!

Mazda navajo the cheaper twin
Introduced in 1991 and sold only in the United States, the Mazda Navajo is a sport utility vehicle that sported two doors. It was made available as a four wheel drive. The Mazda Navajo has been crafted so as to target the market for sporty SUVs. In essence, critics have commented that this vehicle is just a Ford Explorer with the brand name changed to Mazda. This vehicle has been offered in two trim levels which comprise of the base and the LX. The trivia is that the entire vehicle was bought from the Ford Motor Company by Mazda and Mazda just added in its own grille, tail lamps and some minor body trim. This makes things easier in differentiating the two mentioned vehicles, the Mazda Navajo has a different grille, different tail lights, as well as wheels because of that very reason. However, comparing the interior of the vehicles, both contained very much the same features except for the seat fabrics and the steering wheel hub which proved to be the only things setting these two vehicles apart. The Mazda Navajo base sports standard power windows, power locks and power windows. The Mazda Navajo LX trim, on the other hand, adds up other features like extra interior illumination and a steering wheel wrapped in leather. Optional packages for accessorizing and sprucing up the vehicle include luxurious features like air conditioning, a stereo system with cassette deck, a cruise control, sports seats that show off power lumbar adjustment, and a pop up and removable moonroof. Standard features for the Mazda Navajo include a part time electronic Touch-Drive 4WD system, rear antilock brakes that operate only in 2-wheel drives, four wheel anti-lock brakes, and a split folding rear seat. What have changed for the Mazda Navajo were only a few minor details that gave the Ford Explorer a chance to move up the ranks. The Mazda Navajo received an optional CD player, and new five-spoke alloy wheels. Sales became quite low for this vehicle, thus the company has decided to drop this SUV out of its line up and replace it with the Mazda Tribute. However, in spite of this, the vehicle still held the title of Motor Trend magazine’s Truck of the Year award for 1991. The Mazda Navajo has suffered from a poor fuel economy, a not so spectacular ride, and driving noise. However, these were overpowered by the advantages that the vehicle sported. The list includes an excellent acceleration, a spacious passenger and cargo room, 4WD traction, and anti-lock brakes. The Mazda Navajo also would be a better choice if compared with the Ford Explorer. After all, the parts are all the same. It is in the value for money that makes the difference between the two. Likewise, Mazda Parts and Mazda 323 Parts has a supercharged line up of innovative Mazda auto body parts that play an integral part in any replacement needs for Mazda vehicles. These superior Mazda auto parts could push Mazda vehicles’ performance to the next level. The best Mazda auto parts are found at Mazda Parts and Mazda Auto Parts’ online store. The collection includes air intake parts, brakes, climate control, clutch parts, electrical parts, suspension and a whole lot more.

A look at intrinsic motivation
Intrinsic motivation is when an individual is motivated by internal factors, as opposed to external factors. Examples of intrinsic motivation would be doing something because you feel it is the moral and ethical thing to do; doing something because you know it will benefit others or doing something because it brings you pleasure and joy. The latter is common in regards to an enjoyable pastime or a hobby. It is believed that intrinsic motivation is far stronger than extrinsic motivation however there are times when extrinsic motivation can become stronger because it displaces intrinsic motivation. This is known as the overjustification effect. For example this occurs when you begin doing something for intrinsic reasons and then are offered monies or another type of reward for doing it that overrides the reason you started doing it in the first place. In many cases when this happens, a person loses interest in the activity once the reward is taken away. The key is to not offer large extrinsic rewards for something that is meant to be motivated intrinsically (in other words, from within). Intrinsic motivation has been widely studied by researchers in the realm of education since the start of the 1970s and their findings have been that when students are intrinsically motivated to do well in school, they tend to perform better, make higher marks and they also tend to enjoy the material they are learning a great deal more. A man named Bernard Weiner created a theory known as the "Attribution Theory" and he looked at such things as the orientation of goals and the locus of control (internal and external). As an aside, an internal locus of control is when a person believes that they have control over what happens to them whereas an external locus of control means that a person believes that control is outside of themselves and has more to do with extraneous factors as opposed to their own actions. According to Bernard Weiner, students are much more likely to possess intrinsic motivation in their studies if they feel that their educational achievements have more to do with their own efforts as opposed to anything else. As well students will experience intrinsic motivation if they feel that they play a paramount role in attaining their own personal educational goals as opposed to feeling as those it has more to do with luck or simply a "roll of the dice." Finally when students have motivation that comes from within they will work harder to completely understand and master a given subject as opposed to simply learning the work at hand so they can pass a test or exam and then forgetting it afterwards. Keep in mind that intrinsic motivation holds no promise of rewards for students as opposed to extrinsic motivation, which is all about rewards. Many decades of research has given rise to a theory known as "Goal Theory" which has shown that intrinsic motivation in some communities and groups is altruistic in nature as the desire to help others and contribute to the greater whole is the number one motivator. When a person appeals to the common good or does something based on a moral obligation or commitment to others this is when intrinsic motivation is shown to be alive and well in the world.
I love teleclasses
: Teleclasses are fun! You join a group of friendly folks interested in the same topic as you. Experts, teachers, or the conference call leaders help you with fresh ideas to look at your topic in a new light. Plus, the other callers give you tips on how they accomplished goals like yours. Also, many participants exchange email addresses and help each other progress towards the final product, whether that is writing a book, developing a website, or even remodeling their personal home. I have made long-term buddies through teleclasses that I took a couple of years ago. It's been fun to watch my friends' progress and see their books and web pages unfold! Besides making new friends and gaining valuable information, teleclasses save you time, money, and effort.
- You don't have to travel.
- You save money on expenses. Teleclasses often cost less than seminars.
- Teleclasses are so easy! All you need to do is listen, if that's what you want. You don't need to get dressed up and arrange child care. However, you should keep the children entertained so they let you learn in peace.
Now, from a teacher's point of view, I still don't have to travel, get dressed if I don't feel like it, or grade papers! Teleclass participants behave. They don't talk to the student sitting next to them or ask to go to the restroom. Plus, they don't give excuses for not doing homework assignments. From either the participant's or leader's perspective, teleclasses help you gain knowledge, achieve your goals, and have fun while learning and sharing something new, the easy way. Tips on overcoming separation anxiety
When your toddler was still a baby, you probably felt more anxious about leaving him in the care of others than he did about your absence. Babies feel little need to worry as long as their caregiver can meet their basic needs, regardless whether it is their parents or a sitter. But as they grow old, babies develop a kind of attachment to people and objects that are constant features in their life such as their parents. Often, toddlers as young as a year old develop separation anxiety when their parents are out of sight. Although normal, these can cause undue stress to them and their parents when the latter have to leave. Here are some tips to help you and your child overcome separation anxiety: 1. Brief your child about what to expect in a daycare center. Being left in an unfamiliar place can worsen the anxiety felt by your child. Prevent this by briefing him about what he can expect in a daycare. Point out that his basic needs – drinking, eating, resting, and bathroom – will be attended to in the daycare. Excite him with the opportunity of meeting new playmates. 2. Explain where will you go and what will you do when you leave him. Tell your child that you have to go to work. Stress that going to work is not a choice but an obligation. Give him brief details like “At 9 o'clock, Mommy has to attend a meeting with a client.” Most importantly, tell him that you will fetch him every afternoon. 3. Give him a brief tour of the daycare. Prior to having your child attend regular day school, tour him around and inside the place. Get him to meet his teachers and care providers in the daycare. If possible, schedule playdates with other new kids in the daycare for an hour twice or thrice a week to prepare your child for larger groups during regular day school. 4. Help your child be more confident. Teach your child how to introduce himself to other people. Practice and role-play with him until he is comfortable about introducing himself or talking to other people, especially his peers and caregivers. 5. Be in the daycare early. Never rush in the morning – this will only increase your child's worry. Arrive early enough to be able to introduce your child to his caregivers, teachers, and some of the other kids. Be sure to spend a few minutes playing with your child or reading him a story. Just be sure to set a time and stick with it. Tell your child that you'll stay with him for five minutes and when the time is up, kiss him and remind him when you will be back. Although these tips can help minimize the anxiety felt by your child during your absence, bear in mind that eliminating this anxiety will take a long time. Your child may cry or give in to tantrums during the first few days but with consistent practice, he will gradually get over his anxiety caused by your absence.
Still think high heels are worth it
It's not what fashion-conscious women want to hear-another warning about high heels. But, according to the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, pump-style shoes often cause significant pain by irritating a common bony deformity on the back of the heel, called "pump bump." In many cases, it can lead to bursitis or Achilles tendonitis, if left untreated. "Pump bump is common in young women who wear high heels almost every day," said Marybeth Crane, DPM, FACFAS, a Dallas-area foot and ankle surgeon whose practice near DFW International Airport is well populated with flight attendants. She said the employee dress code on most airlines requires flight attendants to work in high heels, and their feet take a beating as a result. "The rigid back of a pump-style shoe can create pressure that aggravates the heel bone when walking," said Crane. According to the ACFAS consumer Web site, FootPhysicians, the bony enlargement can cause Achilles tendonitis or bursitis due to constant irritation in pump-style shoes. Those with high arches or tight Achilles tendons are especially vulnerable to developing pump bump, if they work in high heels. The medical term for the disorder is Haglund's deformity. In addition to the noticeable bump, symptoms include pain where the Achilles tendon attaches to the heel, swelling in the back of the heel and redness in the area. In the large majority of cases, pump bump is treated nonsurgically by reducing inflammation, but this does not get rid of the bony enlargement. "Pain relief is the primary treatment goal, so anti-inflammatory medications usually are prescribed," said Crane. She added that icing the back of the heel reduces swelling, and stretching exercises can relieve tension in the Achilles. Long term, however, it's best to avoid wearing high heels, if possible. "When the office or airline dress code requires high heels, I advise women to try heel lifts to decrease pressure on the heel or wear appropriate dress shoes that have soft backs or are backless," said Crane.
How to write a salesletter easily
If you want to sell something on the internet you might need to write a salesletter. A salesletter is a one page website which tells people about your product, and why they should buy it. You could study a few books to learn how to write great salesletters, but if you are a beginner you might get confused in this way. It’s a better idea to buy one good book and try first learning from it. Then you might get another book. But it takes time, so in the meantime you can read this article and it should be enough to write a good salesletter. To be successful at internet marketing you need to first learn a little bit, and then take action. You will learn by doing it. It’s the best way to learn. So let’s learn the basic steps of writing salesletters. First, read some other salesletters about similar products as yours. Of course, don’t copy or plagiarize, but you get some good ideas and get inspired. Second, write an interesting headline. The headline is very important. If the headline doesn’t catch people’s interest, they won’t read your salesletter, however interesting it is. Write the headline in red, black or blue and use bigger font than for the rest of the page. Third, tell a story. Tell about some problems people have in your niche. Then tell them how the thing you are selling can solve their problems. Fourth, using bullet points or lists, tell people about all the benefits of your product. Write about as many benefits as you can. Fifth, finish your newsletter calling for action. It means that you need to tell people to “buy now”. You need to tell them also why they should “buy now” Try to find some good reasons why they should act now. Otherwise people will procrastinate. You can also make your salesletter better if you use the word “you” often. Use it more often than “I”, “we” or “us” combined. Make your salesletter simple. The background should be white. Most of the text should be black. Use other colors to emphasize certain phrases. Use a lot of “buzz phrases”, in proper context, that are important to your niche. Make these words more visible by highlighting or underlining them, or make them bold, italic, etc. But don’t overemphasize. Be selective. Emphasize the most important phrases only. Don’t use caps too much. Don’t use too many images either. Better none, than too many. Offer money back guarantee. It will increase your sales conversion. To make people “act now” offer some bonuses. Be honest; don’t over-exaggerate the benefits of your product. Don’t try to make your salesletter perfect at first. Just write it, and then you can work on improving your salesletter. Building your list with articles and paid ezine advertising
You can build your list simply by writing articles, whether you have thought of it or not. Quite simply, you write and submit your articles on your topic of expertise or business nature to popular article directories where eZine publishers and readers are looking for the information you provide. Leveraging your viral marketing efforts on article writing can be rewarding, if done right. In the real sense, you are actually proving your worth and demonstrating your expertise about your business through the articles you write. So, how can this method in effect build your mailing list? The answer: the resource box you attach to your articles. In your resource box (also known as bio box), you include a brief detail about yourself and your business site together with its URL. It is strongly suggested that your resource box URL links to your mailing list’s landing page where you can get your visitor’s name and email address, which will in turn help you build your mailing list at no cost. If your articles are found worth sharing, eZine publishers will republish your articles together with your resource box for their readers and subscribers. The wonderful result: viral marketing without effort on your part! You can start by writing and submitting your articles to trusted article submitter sites such as free article pro and begin your article marketing journey today. You can also build list paid eZine advertising Some Internet Marketers can get clueless when it comes to unleashing the full potential of paid eZine advertising. One of the most common dilemmas is that whether should the Internet Marketer advertise the product or service he is selling directly to the subscribers of the eZine he is paying advertising for? This can be a wise method, but with ifs and buts. For one, the advertisement must be compelling and attention grabbing. Secondly, there is no telling if the eZine’s subscribers constantly practice a buying habit until you put some money to find out. Investing even a small sum of money can be risky to a number of Internet Marketers who are on tight budgets. But in spite of the risk factors, eZine advertising can still be rewarding, if done right. Thus the solution: the marketer would be wiser if he or she uses eZine advertising to build his or her mailing list. It makes sense, anyway. Since some eZines display more than one sponsored advertisement, you can grab the subscriber’s attention by giving a free or risk-free product or offer through your ad. When the subscriber clicks on your ad, he or she can opt into your mailing list in exchange for the free offer, which can be a free report or even a trial service. While you are not making a hard sell through your advertisement just yet, building your list by getting other eZine’s subscribers subscribed to your eZine allows you to follow up with them in the future, as and when you have new offers.
Tips for buying a cell phone
There are so many sleek and impressive looking cell phones on the market these days that it's hard to resist the temptation to buy one. There is perhaps very little in the world of modern technology that now rivals the prevalence of the cell phone. Just imagine -- it can help you communicate with practically anyone at practically any time. Plus, you look good doing it, too. Today's cell phones are so much more than means to communicate. You can use your cell phone as a personal planner, check on breaking news on the internet, send email, take photos, take videos, play games, send text messages and even dial numbers by through mere sound of your voice. Of course, having a phone with all this is not cheap, so it's important to determine just exactly what we need our cell phones to do. The first choice is almost always dependent on our preference for a wireless service provider. The key items here are the kind of coverage it offers and the type of monthly service plan it has in your location. Once done, you will then have to select from the wide array of phones that your service provider has to offer. Next, you have to think of the phone's features. If you're a world traveler, then you need a phone with global wireless standard. You will probably need a dual-mode phone that can communicate in both digital and analog. These are much more dependable for globetrotters than single-mode models, especially if you will be going to isolated places or rural areas where digital service may be nonexistent. The next decision you will make is probably the most fun one: design. Do you want one of those phones that are designed like a clamshell and just flip open? Or are you more inclined towards those that look like candybars and don't flip open? For convenience, flip phones are tougher to use, especially if the base is lighter than the cover. Would you like a phone with a dual screen, the one with a small LCD on the cover as well as an internal display?
